We publish writers with something to say about photography, music, art, fashion and culture, in the U.S. and in Ghana. Send us your piece. Our chief writer, Onome T, reads every submission, and the best ones run under your name.
What we look for: a clear point of view, specific details, and facts we can check. 600 to 1,500 words. Original and not published anywhere else.
How it works: Onome T checks facts and sources, reads for fairness to the people in the story, and makes light edits for clarity, never to change your voice. Our editor approves every piece before it runs. If we publish you, your byline and short bio run with it.
Ground rules: link your sources. Only send photos you took or have the right to share, credited. Write about people with respect. Tell us honestly if you used AI tools; heavy AI writing is not what we are looking for.
